The purchase and sale of renewable energy projects, portfolios and companies is RIMB's core business. RIMB's Managing director was one of the first to sell a 500 MWp portfolio of German solar parks in the early stages of development from a German developer to an international corporation paying the purchase price in milestones during development. This shows that selling projects at any stage is possible and can make sense. The renewable sector is still a young industry, which is why the consolidation of companies is just beginning and therefore there are still many opportunities for buying and selling.

Strategieberatung

Die Optimierung von Strukturen und Prozessen gehört zum Kern der Beratung von RIMB. Finanzierungen

Die Bankfinanzierung ist häufig die erste Wahl, wenn es um die Finanzierung von Projekten oder Firmen geht. Sobald Projekte baureif sind, lässt sich in der Regel eine Finanzierung über einen großen Teil des Investments bekommen. Bei Projekten in der Entwicklung und bei Unternehmen prüft RIMB die Umsetzbarkeit für Ihren Fall und sucht nach Alternativen, falls eine Fremdfinanzierung nicht möglich erscheint. Neben einer Finanzierung durch Spezialfonds haben sich zuletzt Joint Ventures oder auch der frühe Einstieg kapitalstarker Investoren in die Projektentwicklung oder Unternehmen als sehr erfolgreich gezeigt.

Kauf und Verkauf

Der Kauf und Verkauf von Projekten, Portfolios und Unternehmen im Bereich der erneuerbaren Energien ist das Kerngeschäft von RIMB. RIMBs Geschäftsführer war einer der ersten, der ein 500 MWp-Portfolio deutscher Solarparks im frühen Entwicklungsstadium von einem deutschen Entwickler an einen internationalen Konzern verkaufte, der den Kaufpreis in Meilensteinen während der Entwicklung bezahlte. Dies zeigt, dass ein Verkauf von Projekten zu jedem Stadium möglich ist und sinnvoll sein kann. Die Branche der Erneuerbaren ist noch eine junge Branche, weshalb die Konsolidierung der Unternehmen gerade erst einsetzt und es somit noch viele Chancen beim Kauf und Verkauf gibt.

Once projects are ready for construction, financing can usually be obtained for a large portion of the investment. For projects under development and for companies, RIMB will evaluate the feasibility of a financing option that is suitable for your case and will look for alternatives if debt financing does not seem feasible. In addition to financing through special funds, joint ventures or the early entry of capital-strong investors into project development or companies have recently proved very successful.
